Aditya Dev was born on 1967, India. His works are imagery, individualized and spontaneous, which represent a pictorial from of language with poetic metaphors. He maintain very balanced trapeze with several roles - an emotional poet and an adventurous painter, all converge in degrees that are apparent to those who care to see beyond mere surface. The result is definitely very far away from any ones imagination.

The self-taught artist sketches his characters in such a whimsical position looking perfectly mingled with each other and it emerges an array of thoughts putting a new dress-up around the characters. His infinite permutations of images bring forth a unheard sequences of emotions and delight.

Aditya Sharma's brush strokes render the reality into incredible making us realize his achievement on human emotions and feelings and create a similar effect without taking benefit of any developed technology to point out a new way of paint. The various tones of colours brushing layers on layers evoke a thick stroke that is his spontaneity.

The series “Khel Ke Beech Mein” he starts with conscious steps to look at himself and his surroundings from secret vantage positions but slowly, he allows himself to go with the flow only to discover that he is actually floating! It is this freedom that catches sensitively of his heart. Here the choice of colours takes a turn from spiritually yellow and vibrant red to hazy blue and transparent brown. The texture takes on gentler tone as they meld seamlessly to create images that are starkly sensual as they are passionate.

According to Pranav Kumar Vandyopadhyaya, Aditya as an artist know the depth of feelings, he know the process, where he goes below the earth which is either frigid or volatile. He knows his inner world that gives him a series of journey is possible between the points of nothingness. In black and white Aditya talks of the origin of mind. The painter draws the movement of sound through its unknown origin. It seems to be unending.

A poet continuously de-constructs the words to construct something new and different. Something beyound the reach of ordinary language. All that demands a painting also. That is the confidence, while he enjoy in painting the possibility of discovering a form beyound the observed form and a pattern beyound the apparent patterns. That gives him a self rewarding situation from where he can look forward to another canvas.

Bold outlines, dark backgrounds and etched figures are trademarks of Aditya Dev's works. His choice and usage of dark and bright colours allow his expressive figures to stand out from their deeper backgrounds. The brush strokes are clean, but also give a sense of blending in with the rest of the painting. The shading is sometimes subtle and sometimes strong, but always lighting the figures from within.

JOURNEY OF LIFE IN PROGRESS

Art of course, ought to be a multi variate expression of thoughts, feelings and human sensitivities and not just fugitive in appeal, a quality we see in certain arts and artifacts of the day that momentarily or passingly entertain us in moments of mental or physical exhaustion. Good and meaningful art, on the other hand is impressionable, it is lasting as it provides adequate food for thought and touches our sensibilities. Paintings are thoughts, dreams, experiences and expectations woven intricately with the bush of imagination on to life

In this backdrop “Aditya Dev” thankfully enough has evolved beyond years and appreciated the nuances of art at a relatively in this modern age. He has attained the maturity of dabbling with colours in a highly creative manner. His works have the appeal and application.

His art works are good enough to elevate the spirits or have the potential of sensual delight. His works are handsomely charged with creative sparks of imagination and appreciation.

His works can be termed modern in approach as they tend to draw his inspiration from contemporary subjects and objects and his own experiences and exposures.

Aditya Dev is an exceptional painter in the field of contemporary India art scene. He is one of the most enthusiastic Indian artist who keenly observed the human relations whether man or women, mother and child, nature etc. in his exhibits the human relations especially man and women have their own personal space, some elements of nature are incorporated. His paintings are different conceptually but the purity and self illumination play a hidden role.                      .

Whether in colour, or in ink, paper or canvas Aditya’s journey as a painter from his previous solo show “Bheed ki barf” to his recent solo show “Khel ke beech main” his journey as an artist is in progress to attain satisfaction an artist. His paintings move from chaos and hysteria to explore the changing mental landscape of the human mind. Trinity coming into being his art is human soul finding solace in artistic endeavours.
