Alexander Boreyko (born Borewka) was born in Minsk, Belarus in 1960. In 1982 Alexander successfully accomplished his studies in A. Hlebaw Minsk School of Art and 1987 Academy of Art Republic Belarus. He studied architecture and was engaged in restoration of Russian works of Art from the middle ages. ;In the late 1990’s he left Belarus and settled in Paris. There he was inspired by the work of the Late Impressionists. ;In 1992 Alexander immigrated to Israel and he continues painting in watercolor and oil with rich textures. ;His favorite themes are streets of Paris with landscapes and flowers. Why Paris? He said: because Paris is one of the most favorite cities of the world … even for those who has never been there. Perhaps, this is because we have seen this city by the eyes of the artists: Renoir , Manet, Hugo , Proust, Gauguin, Lautrec…… ;Painter’s eye possesses wonderful quality to transform the reality, to penetrate beyond the limits of the ordinary and to reveal the difference between real and unreal worlds…. I print only what I see with delicate balance between color, light, subject matter and composition. ;SELECTED EXHIBITION
