Painting for me has always been a hobby, my form of release.  My art training, if you want to call it that is minimal as it extends to art classes in high school and that’s about it.  I have always been interested in art, but I guess like most people in the world never thought of it as career, but more as something to do to past the time.

My decision to post my work, is due solely to the fact that I am being supported 1200% by my family, all of whom think my work needs to be scene by people I am not related to.  So here I am.

I basically like experimenting with different mediums, or at least I try to. My early works were mainly done in oils, but the more recent pieces are acrylic, pencils, charcoal, watercolors, or a combination.

Abstract is my thing!  There is no doubt about that.  As for where my inspiration comes from?  Well what can I say?  A song, familiar shapes at unfamiliar angles, shadows on a wall, colours through a frosted glass, a reflection in a window, or a scribble of a pen on a piece of paper.

I know when most people paint; they try to express their emotions, or try to send out their message to world.  My work is not like that.  I am not trying to portray my frustrations on world issues, hopes and dreams for the future, or that I am feeling fat today.    My pieces just are.  If my work had any purpose, I would hope that it would make people think, and maybe allow themselves the freedom to dream outside the box.
