It is a great honor and humility that I invite the art community and the world to take a look behind the brush strokes that lift my soul to radiate the beauty that bursts in the manifestation of daily life.
My life as an artist is pretty extensive. I exhibited my art work in New York, Long Island, Washington DC, Montreal, Quebec, Florida and Los Angeles. I was featured in the Coral Gables and Caribbean Magazines, the Canadian newspaper “Presence “, Haitian Newspaper “ Haiti Observateur” and the book “Haitian Artists Living in America”.
Some of my most recent accomplishments are listed below:
In 1993, Al Sharpton and Governor Mario Cuomo was honored guest speakers at a multi-cultural event to which I participated at Medgar Evers Community College in Brooklyn, NY in celebration of Black History month. Both of them mentioned their appreciation for my art work and complimented me on the variety of styles and the vibrancy of colors displayed.
In 1995, I received an award at the 50^th anniversary celebration of the United Nations; a cultural event entitled “Art, Music and folk Dance” and held in Manhattan, NY.
In 1997, I was awarded the third price in a competition between 46 artists, all members of the Artist Association of Long Island, NY at the Library of Uniondale, Long Island.
Awarded a certificate of appreciation by the Arts & Culture Advisory Board for the exhibition of my
Art work in the Pembroke Pine Florida Glass Gallery held during the whole month of July 2007.
I created and donated a special art work to the Alvin Ailey Harlem Dance Theater in celebration of the Black History month. The painting was auctioned off and the proceeds benefited the AIDS organization.

Art is the fundamental foundation of life. It awakens a sense of beauty. It becomes a vital necessity to create, read from my soul this cultural and spiritual manifestation. I love what I do for my art. I was born with the shapes and colors and tone keys that represent the essence of creativity. I share everything with art: my emotions, my suffering and my hopes. God has infiltrated in me this creative force that gives me a unique view of existence. My mission is to enhance on a canvas everything that I feel at the bottom of my soul. Whatever the medium applied, the result is a breathtaking harmony of colors. My goal is to contribute to its progress.

I was born in St. Michel de l’Attalaye, Haiti but raised and educated in Gonaives, one of the major cities located in the Central Plain.
I started drawing at the young age of five. I captured my first glimpse of colors passionately watching my dad using various mirages of colors on his canvases. At that moment, I discovered my real purpose in life. I still carry that passion for art.
At the age of nine, I joined St. Charles’ Church choir. Sitting inside the cathedral, I was deeply moved by the contemporary design and colors of the bay windows which incited me to transfer that beauty into daily life depicted through various artistic styles.
I personally think that art is a critical foundation of life that stirs a sense of respect. I became a vital necessity to create and reach the soul of this cultural and spiritual manifestation. I love what I do with my art.

I left my country in 1974 and settled in New York to study Architecture, which to me, is another form of creativity.
