Linda was born and raised and spent most of her life in a suburb of London, England.

In June 1996 she and her late husband emigrated to the United States.

After a series of unpleasant events, culminating in January 1998 when her husband was diagnosed with cancer and passed away three months later.

Soon after his death she moved down to Rimrock, N. Arizona onto the property they bought together.

Most of her time was spent in reflection seeking Spiritual guidance which was when art entered her life.

She needed to be creative and began to make beaded jewelery and during the following two or three years she improved her skills

and showed at art shows around Arizona.  She then changed direction and started painting in acrylics.

Self taught and unorthodox in execution, she likes to experiment with different styles and mediums.

Her passion is the Native American belief system, and all non-sectarian Spirituality.

From painting in acrylics she moved into mixed media, in particular assemblage and collage.  Recently she started her own home based business proofreading and editing for authors and writers. When asked why she is doing that she answered, "because there is an need". When authors write manuscripts or stories of any description they are too close to their work to be objective.  This means they miss errors, be it spelling, grammatical or simply typos.  They need someone like me to read it through with a dispassionate eye before it goes to print or the publishers.
