Lyuba Zahova was  born on 27.02.1952 in Shabla, Bulgaria. In 1975 she graduated from the fine-art institute in Dupnitsa. Untill 1990 she worked as a fine-art teacher and director of the fine-art gallery in Shabla, Bulgaria. She is taking part in fine-art exhibitions in since 1980. In 1990 she had her first solo exhibition in Schwalmtal, Germany. Her works belong to private collections all over the world. Lyuba Zahova is painting landscapes, still lifes and modern compositions in oil. Her paintings are filled with expression. Her strokes are confident, she uses strong colors and creative textures.  In 2005 Lyuba Zahova published her first book 'Born near the lighthouse' - poetry and paintings. |
