Reynaldo J. de la Peña is a self-taught artist born in Tagbilaran City, Bohol on Dec. 12, 1977. Earliest as 10 yrs old he move to San Jose, Antique, and began his elementary with passion in painting. Winning the on the spot painting contest during his high school gives him assurance that painting will bestow him a good gesture. Since then he dreams to study in fine art but a contradictory forces draws him away. other personal website: www.artebadong.weebly.com His inspiration taken from the brush hand & style of Titians, Paul Robins and even from the greatest master Leonardo Da Vinci and later his hand is more destined to the impressionist artist Vincent Van Gogh, with his undulating lines playing between warm and lines colors that fuses objects. 1977 – Born Dec. 12, 1977, 1982- Began to draw even before he entered City East Elementary School in Tagbilaran, and later move to Delegate Angel Salazar Jr. Memorial School at Grade 4, in San Jose, Antique. 1990- Began Grade 4 at DASJMS and at first time joined the CALTEX DECS DOST Art Competition. 1993- During high school at Antique National School he joined the FAHP Regional Conference, in Culasi and won first place in On the Spot Painting. 1994- He won first place in same contest and at this school year he was recognized as FAHP Leader Awardees. - He won First place in different local and regional contest in poster making and on the Spot painting. 1999- First place in the Regional On the Spot Poster Making Contest, DPWH Iloilo City. 1999- Arte San Antonio First place “Dancing in the Garden” and “The World within the World” Honorable Mention - Joined the First Arte Exhibits, St. Anthony’s College 2002- Arte San Antonio 2nd place “The Anthonian” -Joined 2nd Arte Show at De Wit Entablado, St. Anthony’s College, San Jose, Antique. 2005- Graduate in Bachelor of Science and Civil Engineering. - Utbong Center for Young Artists’ Faculty, Paranubliun Antique, Inc. - Joined the Woman Arts Month Art Exhibits. 2006- Online Registry for the NCCA National Commision Culture in Arts. - He teaches weekend art classes in different Elementary School through the IKAG, Integrated Kurit Art Workshops. 2008- Received Informal teaching with Paeng Pacheco, Filipino Father in Hand Painting in Morong Rizal, as participants of the National Commission Culture and the Arts NCCA art workshops with Kalahi. 2009- NCCA Ist trainors Trainings Reynaldo joined latest art group exhibits from different galleries, such as MYLAP Gallery, ECCA Exhibits for Contemporary Center, Sining sa Silong Gallery, GSIS Musseum, LRT exhibition for simi finalist, Metrobank Foundation
