Biography Rob Keller - Art painter/light painter and pop artist
I was born and raised in Hilversum, the media town of the Netherlands. So it was a natural choice for me that I wanted to become a pop singer. Together with my twin brother Hans, I pursued this dream and we succeeded. For many years we were well known faces and voices on television and radio, at home and abroad.
With the groups CHIPS and NUMERO UNO (produced by Bolland & Bolland) we frequently went abroad, on tour. During many of these trips I felt the need to develop my other great passion, painting. I’d gone to school to become a graphic designer and had worked as an illustrator, before singing took over my professional life. So I started to take art classes, whenever I had some spare time between performances, to develop my skills as an art painter.
I paint also on commission, mainly in acrylic on canvas and linen. I've done a lot of large format, realistic and abstract ones. And I do workshops. Phone +31 (0) 6 30201313
