Susanne Andersen was born and raised in Denmark. She has seen most of Europe and the United states and these influences come through in her art.
A gifted artist she is able to draw anything she sees, but she enjoys following the create flow with her many expressions;
either landscapes, portraits, or abstracts. In her art there is always harmony, composition, flow and ..lots ...of color in her works.
Susanne Andersen was born an artist; always creating, drawing, pasting, cutting, sculpting, shaping
and forming the images she continually sees and imagines.
She is a prolific artist with a unique vision, never afraid to share her love of color and form.
Look closer and you will see there is always a story behind her work.
She has said about her work:
"My paintings are about life as I see it;
swirling patterns of energy; dynamic and continually changing,
flowing with saturated colors, in curves, twists and turns.
Thru sensual observation my works become studies
of the form, color and perception of life.
Sometimes they are figurative, sometimes not.
My work is also about emotions and giving
life to organic creations. I represent this dynamic
and powerful force by explosions of colors and
vibrancy; a merging between the boundaries of light and darkness,
representing a joy of life and of being alive.
I love color, I love art, I love life."
