Throughout her training at the College of Fine Arts and thereafter (until 1981), Bozena Happach studied sculpture under Elzbieta Szczodrowska.
The extensive experience has allowed the artist to explore a broad spectrum of figurative arts, and resulted in a profound study of autonomous as well relief forms of expression. It also afforded Bozena Happach a unique opportunity to collaborate on large scale sculptures under expert guidance.
During the latter part of this period, Bozena Happach had obtained degrees in Civil Engineering and in Architecture which served to develop her inherent talent for composition while giving it the strength of structural integrity. The diverse originality of her work continues to be broadened and enhanced by her extensive travels.
Presently Bozena Happach finds self expression in relief sculptures, as well as 3-dimentional figurative forms which, on occasion, she combines with abstract elements. Her sculptures illustrate the complexity and beauty of human form. She intend to demonstrate the depth as well as the foibles of the human endeavor, along the journey of both physical and spiritual evolution.
She works in Bronze, Gesso-duro, Fiberglass and Stone.
