the Heroes


Turning new at each new step
the gliding of the sun i set
upon marches of fire in the sun
swapping light for a pun.

You should have seen me in past years!
my youth, my joy, my unconsciouness,
the walking in the pyres,
the howling in distress.

Now being another man i count
my days passed and yet to come
i take the unicorn and mount
the passing clouds as they come.

So, my love, watch the solemn sea!
and dream of another life yet to be,
the shining stars hung above us,
the angels chatting in a fuss,

while those heroes in my soul
one by one slowly will fall.

Singing at heart a new despair
shadows that should impede
this violent affair
walking like a centipede.

To resume love as we left
the places we‘ve dwelt in,
the coming of a man so deft
that he can live without a sin.

A mountain made of blue shadows
the glistening of a stream,
a face erased but that still glows
under the skin of your dream.

Walking under the sun i see
the portrait of the long lived dead
he walks by the gentle sea,
and on his face i have read

the dying of  the days by the sea.
