De Yong has been involved in the arts for many years. As an award winning photographer, a fiber artist and painter, De Yong has explored many facets of art. Believing that we are a sum of many parts, she brings these sensibilities into her art. A resident of Northern Virginia, DeYong creates abstract works that are often influenced by her Jewish heritage and stories of the past. Most recently De Yong's work has been exhibited in : The Ethical Metalsmiths International Art Show "Golden Opportunity: A global collaboration to understand gold.
