My name is Yefim Shestik.                                              

Profession: architect  and 

fine art artist.
Residence: Israel.I was born in year 1954 in U.S.S.R town Chernovizy which located in Ukraine.In1973 I have immigrated to Israel.My art education started from
 Year 1979 until 1981 where I have started learning Graphics in college in Haifa,and I have continued my art education in visual art school' in Beer-Sheva for additional three year, which I successfully graduated at year 1985. 

During my art education, I am participated in different art exhibitions
 in Beer - Sheba. and in some others towns in Israel.
One of my most my significant artworks,during this period, Was Performance 3-D dimensions art work. In which, An audience ,
  takes part in my art work , stepping on my artwork, and leaving their traces .
 This Art work, named " A chess against War " based on Shakespeare's Statement “ All World -is a stage, all people - players ”.
Ar twork has been created in different art techniques and medium , I have drawn on a nylon floor(49 square meters) false three
 angle perspective. Black and white chess cells which come to an end in an opposite black wall in the beginning silhouette's feet.
 Silhouette cares the wounded in a had chess soldier,expressing the pity . On the left corner two chess armies
 (ceramics about 50 cm tall) At black color are standing in black area facing each other, are ready to start the war
. At the left corner,I have disposed broken and smashed chess pieces to express the result of war. .,
In my catalogue you can look at the photos of this work . My sculpture concept is developed in a clay and beeswax sculpture.
When he is satisfied with the design, the model is reproduced in wax and sent to a bronze foundry, where a ceramic mould is made and the sculpture is translated into bronze through the lost wax casting method.
Each original piece or Limited Edition is cast and finished in a labor-intensive process,mostly by me and ending with the application
of special patinas
. From year 1987 I am participating in different art exhibition's in Israel and working as an art teacher in schools and clubs.
At year 2005 I have graduated from Brauda college and received diploma an architect.
Recently, I have worked on big 3,5 m tall sculpture which I have performed for sculptor Baruch Wish, executing this art working for the bronze art casting plant,where I have executed alone, about 90 of welding and polishing work in bronze.Photos of enlarged big sculpture and other art works can bee seen on the page:
