Antoine MOLINERO - peintre des Caraïbes
Antoine Molinero's expressionistic painting is born from an exacerbated realism, which he deliberately treats with colour, to study and represent snapshot attitudes, which he never freezes in place, but lets endure, like a sound sequence.
Born in Aubagne, in Southern France, in 1948, he started a career as a choreographer.
He went full-time into painting, his lifelong passion, in 1980. Settled in St Martin for the past twenty years, he also shows his work in New York, Paris and Montreal.
